She has led teams to change culture by creating system standard work for patient flow and a sense of urgency in getting patients to the right care at the right time. She served as Operational Leader to create a Healthcare System Command Center, while partnering with Clinical Informatics to develop Command Center Dashboards to improve visibility and transparency across the health system. Her detail-oriented, proactive approach helps to drive the organization to success. Along with a degree in Multi-Skilled Health Technology, Melissa earned a Massage Therapy Certification from Lakeland Community College to further her understanding of healthcare.
