Emergency Services
- Opened first Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program, ED nurse practitioner program, and case management program in metropolitan community
- Developed the first ED nurse practitioner program in an emergency department in Omaha, Nebraska.
- Developed the first case management program in the emergency department in the community.
- Provided administrative support to develop the first Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners Program in Omaha, Nebraska
- Developed a behavioral health consulting service program for an emergency department
- Led administrative team consisting of all hospital directors, ED nurse manager, ED medical director to develop strategies to improve hospital throughput
- Successfully facilitated passing of Nebraska Statute to allow ED nurses to testify by affidavit rather that going to court
- Developed universal education on domestic violence screening for medical providers in the Omaha community
- Administrator for the development of a new Children’s ED
- Developed nurse triage system and medical protocols which allowed nursing staff to begin diagnosis and treatment prior to using medical protocols
